The lubricating system has four major parts:
- Oil Tank
- Filter
- Oil Cooler
- Pump
The major purpose of a lubricating system is to reduce wear and tear of engine surfaces that come in contact with each other. The pump is responsible for drawing oil from the tank. Oil is then passed using filters for scanning impurities. After cleaning, the oil is directed to the point where lubrication is required. During working, the temperature of oil might increase, in order to keep the oil temperature low, oil coolers are used.
